Wrestling with Faith

  • Wrestling with Faith

Rethink everything you know about our universe.
Explore the nature of our world and the meaning
of the human condition as you contemplate
    existential questions about consciousness, the
physical, and the metaphysical, to unveil the
hidden unity and pervading truth of our existence.

Even the most devout people struggle with their belief in G-d. It’s easy, for example, to sit in the synagogue over the high holidays and affirm the essentials of our faith in theory, but when it comes to trusting G-d with our daily lives, we share a secret, painful fear that G-d isn’t really looking out for us. We’ve been brought up under the assumption that mainstream science is incompatible with our Jewish faith,"so when we see compelling evidence for biological evolution, for example, we feel forced to choose between science and our faith. Wrestling with Faith was created to tackle questions like these, the "big issues" that keep us from an intimate relationship with G-d, and we acknowledge the often unspoken doubts and fears that all people share, "as we seize their invitation to dig deeper for the answers.
