 Dear friend,

We are so excited to launch our annual Chanukah Mitzvah project! This year, we are teaming up with Chai Lifeline Midwest to bring warmth and happiness to children who are unfortunately struggling with serious illnesses.

Chai Lifeline is an international non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the non-medical needs of seriously ill children, their families, and communities. Their mission is to enhance lives through programs and services that offer friendship, good times, great memories, social and emotional support.

The holiday of Chanukah commemorates the Menorah and the light it spread to the world.  As Chanukah approaches, we strive to spread light and warmth, in the manner of the Menorah. Chabad Hebrew School will be running a Toy Drive to help bring light and warmth to children and families that are in need.

We will be collecting toys from Sunday, November 26, through Sunday, December 17. Please consider purchasing a toy or two and bring it to Chabad Jewish Center between 8am - 5pm . We are collecting toys for children of all ages, infants through teenagers, however, gifts for children 13+ are especially appreciated. The toys we collect will be distributed by Chai Lifeline Midwest.

This year on Chanukah let's not only kindle the physical Menorah in our homes, let's also light up the world with acts of goodness and kindness!
